Biography

Karen is a paediatric nurse and has been involved with nursing children in the acute care setting for more than 20 years. Her commitment to children’s health and nurses working with children has given her many opportunities in her professional life; most recently working as a volunteer lecturing in the Children’s Hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam for the past 2 years. Karen is a former president of the Council of Children’s Nurses (Inc), former board member of the Australian College of Children and Young Peoples Nurses (formerly known as ACPCHN).

Karen joined the AWCH Board in October 2009
