Play Kit Fundraiser

Brightening Hospital Stays One Kit at a Time!

The AWCH Ward Grandparent Program is staffed by an amazing group of dedicated volunteers who provide essential support to hospitalised babies, children, young people, and their families.

To assist our Ward Grandparents with their important role, we’re developing ‘Play Kits’, filled with age-appropriate activities and tools specifically tailored to each hospital unit, age group and varying abilities —from soothing sensory toys for infants, to engaging games and activities for older children and teens.

Each Play Kit will be curated to provide specialised tools for Ward Grandparents to provide support for children of all ages and abilities.

Your support can make a huge impact by ensuring that each Ward Grandparent has additional tools to support hospitalised babies, children, young people and their families.

Together, let’s make hospital stays a little brighter.

A young girl is playing with a toy stethoscope and other medical play toys, and a teddy bear. She is sitting on the floor and smiling to the left of the camera.
