Professor Alison Hutton

Alison has over 25 years of experience advocating for children. Both her Masters and PhD thesis included the consumer perspective of the young person in health care. These findings have contributed to AWCH’s focus on the rights of children and young people in healthcare and the privacy needs of young people in hospital report. Alison has also been on the Australian College of Children and Young People’s Nurses (ACCYPN) Board from 2000 – 2010) and the World Association for Disaster Emergency Medicine (WADEM) Board from 2008 – 2021.
